WHO: The only requirements to enter the contest is that your entry must be a residential property, and it must be located within Pinellas County. You can enter the contest now through December 15th. Public light lovers and Holiday Strollers will vote on their favorite holiday lights display via text message, only one vote per person. You can find all of the light displays and map out your Christmas Lights Drive on the Map below.
WHAT: We are excited to celebrate the holiday season this year! Remember what it is that fuels Santa’s reindeer every year? The Christmas Spirit! So let’s fuel them up by creating some awesome holiday lighting displays at our homes across Pinellas County this year! You, the holiday strollers (otherwise known as the general public who have a love for all things Christmas!) will vote on your favorite holiday light displays via text message. Each contestant will have a contestant sign placed in the front yard with instructions on how to vote for them. Whichever contestant gets the most votes, WILL WIN THE $1,000 GRAND PRIZE!
WHERE: Holiday enthusiasts all over Pinellas County will show off their lighting displays! Contestants can enter through December 15th, so be sure to return to our map here as there will be additions every day!
WHEN: Voting will open on (Saturday morning) December 9th! Voting will be tallied from December 9th through December 28th (at midnight)! Although voting will begin on December 9th, contestants can still enter the competition through December 15th (we know that sometimes the big daddy displays take a little more time to set up!) The sooner you enter, the better, that simply means more voting days available for your display, but don’t worry, a person can only vote one time!
WHY: Because Christmas is the biggest birthday celebration of the year! We believe there’s no better way to bring our families back together for some “offscreen” time, in a safe and fun activity, than there is in piling into your 1989 Ford Taurus Wagon, filling up your tumblers with some hot chocolate and taking a good ol’ fashioned Christmas lights drive…and don’t forget to vote for your favorite display!
